San Cristóbal de las Casas

En Zinacantán se celebraba San Lorenzo, dura un mes y todos se visten de morado, azul y verde, se baila, se come, se juega, se toma, se celebra! El colorido de México se limitó a tres, combinados con el blanco de las construcciones y el mismo verde de las montañas alrededor. Escuché una descripción muy adecuada sobre el lugar, es como si alguien hubiera cogido una cucharada gigantesca de guacamole y la hubiera puesto ahí.

In Zinacantan they celebrate San Lorenzo, it lasts a month and everybody dresses up in purple, blue and green clothes, you pretty much dance, eat, play, drink and celebrate! The colors of Mexico came down to three, combined with the white of the buildings and the same green of the mountains around it. I heard an accurate description of the place, it´s like someone took a giant spoon of Guacamole and just put it there.
